Shipping
Orders are shipped via a variety of carriers available based on transit time. These carriers include Canada Post, Purolator, Dragonfly, Intelcom, Canpar, Fleet Optics, USPS, and others to Canada. To the US, we ship with USPS.
We aim to ship your order within 5 business days of ordering. However, during busy periods this may take longer.
What are the Holiday Order Deadlines?
To get your order by December 25th please order by:
- For Ontario destined shipments, order by December 19th, 2024.
- For Canadian shipments (outside of Ontario), order by December 17th, 2024.
- For the U.S. Cross Border Shipments, order by December 11th, 2024.
- For International Shipments (outside CA and US), order by December 4th, 2024.

Global Shipping Options
For International orders going to countries other than the US or Canada
Standard - 5-21 business days depending on location - $40 Flat Rate. Includes tracking.
As of December 13th, 2024, due to GPSR regulations we no longer ship to the EU countries (Exceptions include Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechenstein). If you'd like to join our mailing list, we'll let you know when we're able to start shipping again to this region.
Note on duties: be advised once the order reaches customs, its processing duration is beyond our control and may vary due to factors past our influence. Please consult the provided tracking information for updates. If you have questions or concerns, we are here to assist you

Will I have to pay for duties for international/US shipments?
Any duties, if incurred, are the responsibility of the buyer. Encircled does not pay duties for customers, nor can we provide estimates on duties. In general, for US shipments, our products are typically exempt from duties as they are made in Canada, however there are exceptions that occur depending on the customs processing officer. For other countries, typically duties will be levied. Generally to the US, orders under $800 are exempt from duties.
Encircled does accurately mark the package with appropriate documentation to help expedite the customs process.
Contactless Pickup
Due to moving to an external warehouse, we no longer have a pick-up option. We will not be able to accommodate drop-in pick-ups, exchanges, or returns.
Pre-orders
Please note that if your order contains an item that is on pre-order, your entire package will ship as per the approximate pre-order ship date indicated on the product page regardless of which shipping service is chosen at checkout. Please place your orders separately if you require non pre-order items to arrive ahead of the pre-order item.
You may be able to split an order which includes a pre-order item(s) for an additional $15, customers must email us at contact@encircled.ca to let us know.

Please note that orders that include Sample Sale items and regular items will be shipped separately in two packages.
Order Shipping Protection
What is “Order Shipping Protection” and what does it cover?
Order shipping package protection is an optional service designed to provide peace of mind for your order. By adding Order Shipping Protection, your order is covered against potential issues like loss, theft, or damage during transit. This means that if your package goes missing, is stolen, or arrives damaged, you’re eligible for an immediate replacement or refund, ensuring a seamless, stress-free shopping experience.
Can I opt out of Order Shipping Protection?
Yes, this is completely optional. If you do not wish to include it, simply deselect it at checkout or remove it from the cart. Without Order Shipping Protection, any claims for lost, stolen, or damaged packages will follow our standard shipping policies and include wait times for insurance, carrier confirmation and require substantive documentation to be processed for review.
I accidentally purchased Order Shipping Protection. Can I get a refund?
If Order Shipping Protection was added by mistake, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. We’ll be happy to assist with removing it from your order and processing a refund for the fee.
What if my package is lost, stolen, or damaged and I paid for Package Protection? How do I file a claim?
If you encounter an issue with your order, such as loss, theft, or damage, and you have Order Shipping Protection, you’re covered! Visit the claims portal and enter your email and order number to start your claim.
If you do need further assistance you can reach out to us at contact@encircled.ca with your order details and a brief description of the issue. We’ll guide you through the claim process and ensure that you receive a replacement or refund for your order.
I returned or exchanged my order. Is Order Shipping Protection refundable?
Order Shipping Protection is a non-refundable service, even if you choose to return or exchange your order. This is because it covers your order during the shipping process, which is completed at the time of delivery.
What if I receive only part of my order?
If you’ve received only part of your order and have Order Shipping Protection, you can file a claim. Gather documentation which includes; photos of items received and the package and submit the claim. We’ll work to ensure you receive any missing items as quickly as possible.
How long do I have to file a claim for a lost, stolen, or damaged package?
For packages covered by Order Shipping Protection, claims should be filed within 7 days from the date of delivery or expected delivery. This helps us resolve issues promptly.
What if my address is incorrect or incomplete on the order?
If Order Shipping Protection is added but an incorrect address was entered, the protection may not apply. Please double-check your shipping information before completing the purchase to ensure accurate delivery. Contact us immediately if you notice an error after placing your order.
Does Order Shipping Protection apply to international orders?
Yes, Order Shipping Protection applies to both domestic and international orders. However, please note that international claims may require additional processing time.
Will Order Shipping Protection cover delays in delivery?
Package Protection does not cover delays in transit, as these are often due to carrier issues. However, if your package is confirmed lost, stolen, or damaged, Order Shipping Protection will apply.
Is Order Shipping Protection transferable to another order or purchase?
Order Shipping Protection is only applicable to the specific order for which it was purchased. It cannot be transferred to another order or future purchases.
Returns & Exchanges
We understand that sometimes things don’t quite work out. That’s why we offer a full refund or exchange on new, unworn merchandise provided that we are notified within 30 days of receipt of the product.

How do I return an item?
Email us at contact@encircled.ca to let us know you'd like to make a return. Please include your order # or the email address used to place the order Details of what item you'd like to return. We’ll respond with instructions within 48-72 hours on business days.
For customers in Canada, you’ll have the option to purchase a prepaid printable flat rate Purolator return label from us for $15.
For customers in the US, you’ll have the option to purchase a prepaid printable flat rate USPS return label from us for $9.95 USD.
For customers outside of the US/Canada, you’ll need to cover the cost of shipping returns/exchanges back to us, but we’ll provide a $20 store credit for the amount paid.
P.S. As of November 2024, Canadian returns will temporarily be processed through Purolator due to the ongoing Canada Post strike
What can I return?
We offer a full refund or exchange on new, unworn merchandise provided that we are notified within 30 days of receipt of the product. All items must be unwashed and unworn with the original hangtags attached. Please see below for which items are not eligible for return.
Can I return an item from Multi-packs or kits?
If you purchased a (2-pack or or kit) and would like to return a piece, the discount will no longer apply to the order and that would be reflected in the amount refunded.
What items are not eligible for return?
The following items are not eligible for a return, refund or exchange:
- Final sale items which are non-returnable/non-refundable/non-exchangeable
- Special promotion/flash sale items (see promotion for terms)
- Items that have been washed and/or worn or damaged intentionally
- Items with tags or labels removed Items not in original condition (i.e. pet hair, make-up stains, food etc)
- Gift cards
Will my items be inspected?
Yes, all garments are subject to inspection. We carefully inspect all items, so please practice good karma and be careful when trying on items. If the item(s) is not in its original condition you will be responsible for loss in value, and not eligible for a refund. The items will be shipped back to you at your cost, or donated upon request.
How much does it cost to return?
For orders in Canada, you'll have the option to purchase a prepaid printable flat rate Purolator return label from us for $15.
For orders in the US, you'll have the option to purchase a prepaid printable flat rate USPS return label from us for $9.95 USD.
The amount will be held back from the refund of your original order, or you can use the shipping provider of your choice.
If you choose your own shipping provider, please note that we no longer offer a shipping credit for ship back postage.
For orders outside of the US/Canada, customers are responsible for covering the cost of shipping returns/exchanges back to us. We offer a store credit for the amount you will pay to ship the return back to us up to $20 USD. This credit can be applied against a future order within 1 year of the return date. Ship credits are a maximum of $100 for a one year period.
What if I return an item at my own cost?
You can ship back the package using the shipping provider of your choice, however, you will be responsible for all costs and duties, with no reimbursement of any kind from Encircled. Any duties or fees incurred by Encircled will be withheld from the refund.
Note: We no longer offer a store credit for ship back postage due to our new flat rate prepaid Purolator/USPS labels. Any postage credit already on file will be valid until their expiry date.
How long do I have to ship my return back to you?
Please mail the package within 7 days of receipt of instructions to be eligible for a full refund. Any returns sent beyond 7 days will be processed as store credit only.
Can I track my return?
Our pre-paid labels from Purolaor have tracking and insurance, so you'll be able to track your return online at www.purolator.com/en/shipping/tracker.
Our pre-paid labels from USPS have tracking and insurance, so you'll be able to track your return online at www.usps.com. Returns are first sent to our shipping provider’s facility in New York and then take around 3 weeks to arrive at our studio in Toronto, Canada.
When will I receive my refund?
We aim to process returns within 21 business days of receipt at Encircled Warehouse in Toronto, however during busy periods this may take longer. Generally, it takes 3-5 business days for your refund to appear on your statement.
If your return is coming from the U.S, please note that it might take 2 to 3 weeks for it to arrive to our warehouse in Toronto.
How will I receive my refund?
We'll refund your item or order to your original payment method, excluding any outbound ship fees (which are non-refundable), and the pre-paid return label fee (if applicable). Refunds can only be made to the original purchaser’s payment method on file with us.
It’s been more than 30 days. Can I still return my item?
As we're a small batch fashion company, cycling our inventory is crucial. We cannot accept returns outside of the 30-day window of receipt of your order.
We do not accept returns outside of our Return Policy, however, in special circumstances when an exception to a return outside of the policy is made, a $20 restocking fee + $15 shipping label will be deducted per return.
How do I exchange an item?
Email us at contact@encircled.ca to let us know you'd like to exchange an item. Please include:

Due to the low levels of stock we hold, we require that exchanges are placed as a new order. When you contact us, we’ll send you a code for free shipping on your exchange and waive your return label fee, if you place your order within 7 days. Please note, customers outside of the US/Canada will be provided with a $15 shipping credit.
How much does it cost to exchange an item?
Exchanges are free for US and Canada! When you contact us, we’ll send you a code for free shipping on your exchange and waive your return label fee, if you place your exchange order within 7 days.
For customers outside of the US, we’ll provide a shipping credit equal to $15 USD to use against your exchange, if you place your exchange order within 7 days.
