How to Wear Tie Dye This Summer
Everyone loves tie dye t-shirts.
But a tie dyed multi-way scarf-dress-top?
Sounds amazing, but we knew the first question would be -- how do I wear that?
(Outside of the obvious pool coverup or fun beach dress!)
Well, we've come up with 3 looks featuring our Aqua Shibori Bamboo tie dye Chrysalis Cardi that you can try out this summer.
How to Wear Tie Dye for a Night Out
T H E L O O K // Patio Perfect with a Tie Dye Top
A tie-dyed top is ideal for a summer's evening spent on a patio.
We styled our Tie Dye Chrysalis Cardi as the Grecian Tunic look, then folded under the front + belted it for a hi-low effect.
Keep the rest of the outfit neutral. I love a pair of ripped black jeans. Nude heels add height without taking away from the vibrancy of the shirt.
How to Wear Tie Dye to Work
T H E L O O K // Make a Statement at Work with a Tie Dye Dress
Tie dye to work? Yes please.
If you work in an office that let's you express your individual style, then this look is for you.
We styled our Tie Dye Chrysalis Cardi as the Wrap Dress look.
Add a classic boyfriend blazer in a darker neutral (we used black, but navy would be fab!), nude heels and statement necklace to complete the look.
How to Wear Tie Dye to the Airport
T H E L O O K // Get Creative with your Go-to Travel Outfit
One of my go-to airport outfits is black leggings (yes, leggings are pants - especially our minimalist legging -- no see through-ness here), white t-shirt, and a jean jacket. Converse for comfort.
For this look, we styled our Tie Dye Chrysalis Cardi as the Double Loop scarf.
One reason why tie-dye is great for travel is that the pattern hides any dirt from travel - bonus.
The takeaway - don't be afraid of a little tie dye.
Especially in the summer. Get creative + have fun with it.
Which of the three looks will you try out first?
