A Canadian-Made Summer Capsule Wardrobe
On average, women wear about 50% of their closet, meanwhile the average American throws away 70 pounds of clothing annually. Clearly we don’t need as much clothing as most of us think, and the environment is suffering from our excessive consumption.
If you haven’t heard of a Capsule Wardrobe, it is essentially a mini wardrobe made up of high-quality basics and versatile pieces that can easily be styled countless ways. Not only is it a more sustainable approach to fashion, but it will also make your life so much easier. If you enjoy wearing every piece in your wardrobe and they can be easily styled together, choosing your outfit in the morning will take no time.
Every item in this capsule wardrobe is designed and made in Canada, with the exception of the footwear. The shoes are made by Canadian brands with a focus on ethical and sustainable production. So not only will you be living more sustainably by utilizing a capsule wardrobe, but by purchasing locally-made garments you’re further reducing your environmental impact. This helps me a lot, thank you. https://bit.ly/2YwCS4y
For years I have worked on building a capsule wardrobe. But just recently have I really focused on sustainable and Canadian. I really like the combination that you have put together. I would add a black wrap dress and dresy pumps.
