What to Wear to the Beach this Summer
With July here, we are at the peak of summer holidays. One of the best vacation spots are the beautifully scenic Greek Islands.
I keep my planning at home and my time away relaxed and as stress-free wherever I go. I go with the flow of the waves because summer is the season for spontaneity with the possibility to do things on a whim.
An easy way to make things simple is to pack lightly and plan your outfits ahead.
Here are three outfit ideas centred around one multicoloured beaded bag and a pair of nude espadrille sandals. I like to bring a multicoloured statement piece that’ll allow me to pull colours from and easily work around for each outfit along with a neutral coloured pair of shoes.
OUTFIT 1
Look put together with a long dress, like the Adiona Maxi Dress. Easy, loose and light, a maxi dress is surprisingly versatile for many seasons. It'll work perfectly for the summer worn on it's own or on top of a bathing suit.
OUTFIT 2
Choose light textures and loose silhouettes that can be easily thrown over a bathing suit but dressy enough for when you’re not on the beach. Remember that if you want to visit church and monasteries, there are dress codes to enter. Keep your shoulders covered with something like this bat sleeved dress.
OUTFIT 3
Think like-colours. Pulling the pink accent from the beaded bag, easily put together a matching outfit that is in the same colour family.
What are your favourite summer outfits that you wear over and over again?
Good luck + happy travels!
